Loft Discs Beta Solid Hydrogen - Please don't scrap me!
Disc Flight Numbers ExplainedSPEED: 1 | GLIDE: 2 | TURN: 0 | FADE: 0
A straight putter with a great and familiar feel in the beta-solid plastic.
Please don't scrap me!: are discs with misprint and/or minor cosmetic defects that do not effect the flight of the disc.
Hydrogen: Hydrogen is the first disc from Løft Discs. Designed to be the straightest flying putter on the market, it raised more than €200,000 on Kickstarter for its first release. Hydrogen is a beadless putter with a rounded edge and a very unique flight. Its design has been optimised with our one-of-a-kind flight path simulator to fly as straight as possible while still having a regular shape, a small diameter and a smooth grip. It will hold any line you put it on, giving “point and shoot” a whole new meaning - both for putting and throwing. With such an honest flight, this disc is also a great tool for learning to control your angles as well as general form.
Beta-Solid (β-Solid): β-Solid is a plastic blend developed to combine grip and stiffness in what we find to be the perfect balance for putting. The feel is somewhere in between rubbery and chalky, and it gives you all the confidence you need to commit to a putt. This material is less durable than our α-Solid, which allows you to beat in the disc over time. The appearance is somewhat matt and comes in mostly dim colours.
Løft Discs: Løft Discs was founded in the summer of 2020 after founders Niels and Asger had developed the first 3D flight path simulator for disc golf based on 3D-models as a part of Niels’ final thesis as a mechanical engineer. Joining forces with IT product development Ph.d. and long-time friend Kasper, Løft Discs was born. By combining science and creativity, we want to push boundaries, make real innovation in disc design and bring a better understanding of disc golf physics into the sport - ultimately striving to empower players to achieve better results out on the courses.
